Of The Son didn’t have to prove themselves to hardcore fans after their 2004 debut The Dead Will Rise, but they’ve put together a combination that will satisfy their loyal fans and win over newcomers with their new release At War.  This 7 song EP has 4 studio recorded tracks, and 3 live performances. 

Unlike a lot of hardcore that is often misunderstood or not understood at all, listeners of Of The Son can find a message in the music.  They’re singing about the redemptive power of Christ in Sinless, and the need for each person to pick up their cross to follow Jesus in Crucify.  Kill Your Past about how each person who is a new creation in Christ must leave behind their old life that is now dead and gone.  The live recordings of Praise Unto Christ and Lion Of Judah can both be found on The Dead Will Rise.
