Porter Wagoner dies from lung cancer at age 80. 1730 guitarist came together in India this week to break the world record by playing “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” all at once. A video recording of their performance was sent to the Guinness World Record Headquarters. Notorious B.I.G. got a wax statue at Madame Tussauds in New York City. Notorious B.I.G. was murdered in Los Angeles in 1997. The unveiling was attended by the late rapper’s Mother. Less than a month after their independent album release through their website, Radiohead has signed a record deal with XL Recordings for the physical release of In Rainbows. Led Zeppelin is postponing their November 26 reunion concert due to guitarist Jimmy Page breaking his finger.
