Alyssa:
Whatever happens I’m really cool with, but I don’t know. I’ve got to focus more on what I think God wants me to do and what’s happening right now. If I focus too much on what I think he wants me to do, then I’m not focusing enough on what I’m doing. I just want to be happy and keep doing what I’m doing.
Melissa:
We want to get signed, and it would be cool if we do, but it’s not our main goal. If it happened, that would be awesome, but that’s not the main thing. We just do whatever God wants us to do, and if that means we are in this place the rest of the time, then, you know

I honestly don’t have that many ambitions from the business perspective. I just would like for us all to be taken care of financially to the point where we can take care of ourselves. But from a ministry standpoint, I know I just want to do more in that aspect. I want to be able to help people and show them that God is real.
What kind of music do you listen to when you’re by yourself?
Alyssa:
I am everything from electronica and really chill to death metal. I think I will always really love Me without You. I like Love Drug a lot, and the Beatles.

I’d have to say one of my favorites is Skillet because I think I was a little biased because of the female drummer. Lori Peters (from Skillet) was actually the one that indirectly encouraged me to play drums. I thought as a girl that it wasn’t able to happen. My sister showed me a video and asked me to listen to the female drummer. And because of that, I knew that I could do it. It is possible for a girl to play drums. I also like listening to Jazz music and the Blues, which are the foundation of all music.
